Confined spaces are often where deterioration accelerates — hidden corrosion, worn internals and damage that can’t be seen from the outside. We provide trained teams for internal mechanical tasks, minor fabrication and bracket repairs, plus targeted surface preparation and coating reinstatement to protect critical areas. Work is planned around your confined space entry controls, including isolation, ventilation and atmospheric monitoring, so repairs are completed safely and small defects don’t turn into major outages.
Inside a tank or vessel, “small” issues rarely stay small for long. Corrosion creeps behind supports, coating failures open up at edges and welds, seals degrade, and damage concentrates around penetrations, stiffeners and nozzle details. We focus on the areas that drive leaks, contamination risk and unplanned downtime — then carry out the in-space works needed to return the asset to service in a safe, verifiable condition.
We support both cold work and controlled hot-work scopes (where permitted), completing minor fabrication, bracketry and mechanical tasks in tight footprints with disciplined tool control and material management. If coating or lining reinstatement forms part of the job, we treat preparation as the foundation: degrease, remove salts/contamination, feather edges properly and confirm the surface condition is right so the repair actually lasts.
Entry is always run under a safe system of work with suitable emergency arrangements in place, aligned to your permit controls, isolations, ventilation and gas monitoring requirements. You receive a tidy close-out: photo records, completion notes, and QA checks where required (e.g., DFT readings/repair boundaries) so your plant team can sign off with confidence.

Planning, permits & safety
In-space work is planned around your controls: isolation states, entry/exit routes, communications, gas testing and ventilation requirements. HSE guidance under the Confined Spaces Regulations emphasises avoiding entry where possible, using a safe system of work where entry is unavoidable, and having suitable emergency arrangements in place before work starts. Where hot work is required, we work to task-specific controls (fire watch arrangements, defined exclusion zones and clear interface management). The goal is simple: a calm, controlled worksite that stays workable throughout — and a close-out pack that stands up to scrutiny.
