Rope Access Confined Space Rescue Team Cover
Confined space work demands more than a permit and PPE — it demands a credible rescue capability on site. Raven Rope Access provides dedicated confined space rescue team cover to support planned entries and maintenance activities where the consequences of delay are high. We integrate with your entry procedure, standby arrangements and permit controls, staying focused on one thing: being ready to recover a casualty quickly, safely and in a controlled manner.

Rescue readiness that stands up to scrutiny and works in the real world.
Dedicated standby rescue for confined space entries supported by rope access. Recovery method and route are agreed before entry, kit is staged, communications checked, and a rescue technician remains on watch for the full duration of the job under your PTW controls.
Confined space rescue isn’t something you “figure out on the day”. Access constraints, vertical entries, internal obstructions, wet environments and changing atmospheres mean the recovery method must be planned to match the space itself. Our rescue cover is built around disciplined preparation: confirming access/egress routes, identifying likely casualty locations, selecting a practical recovery method, and ensuring the right equipment is on site, checked and ready.
On shift, we operate independently from the production task. We maintain entry control, communications and rescue readiness while your team completes the work, and we coordinate closely with the entry supervisor and permit office so changes in scope don’t introduce new rescue risks. Where respirators/BA, ventilation and gas monitoring form part of the system of work, we support the controls and keep the response organised — so if an incident occurs, the team’s actions are immediate, calm and repeatable.
You receive clear documentation for your records: rescue plan, equipment checks, drill confirmations (where required), and a simple close-out record that demonstrates the rescue provision was in place and maintained throughout the entry.

- Close-out records for audits and HSE files
Spaces & locations

Planning, permits & safety
Rescue cover is planned and delivered as part of the confined space safe system of work — not as an add-on. We align to your PTW requirements, isolations, entry limits, communications and atmospheric controls, and we confirm the recovery route and method before entry begins. The rescue team remains in standby with equipment checked and positioned appropriately, keeping interfaces clear in live environments and SIMOPS. If conditions change, the plan changes with them. The outcome is simple: a controlled entry supported by a rescue provision that is practical, site-specific and fully accountable.
